Series II – Candy & Kenny’s Manchester Stadium pre-wedding photos

I call this photo session at Manchester Stadium “Mission Impossible Made Possible”.  :D  No one has ever done a photo shoot at this location, so I am very excited to blog this!

Because Kenny is a huge fan of Manchester United, he decided to take some photos at Manchester Stadium.  Initially, Kenny contacted the stadium and thought we were able to do a personal session there. But when we arrived, they specifically said that NO photo sessions are allowed.  They have very specific rules and lots of security cameras installed everywhere.  Luckily, after we argued a while and then resorted to using our sad puppy-dog eyes, they made an exception only if we stayed with the tourist group at all times.  It was so funny because everything was in such a rush, and we were all scrambled trying to get things organized.  Kenny and Candy had to change to their wedding outfits within 5 minutes, and the hair/makeup artist had to do her work and walk at the same time. I had to focus on being creative and take photos in a very very short and stressful time.  The tour guide was nice enough to let us lag behind the group a little bit, but he kept a stern eye on us.  However, once the moment was right, we decided to secretly sneak away just to snap a couple shots. But, of course, we were called back to the tour group.  I have to say this is the most adventurous and adrenaline-filled photo session we’ve ever done!  I have thank the 2 assistants Brian and Karina. Without them carrying our heavy equipment and always being there when we need them, we could never pull this off! I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Will post the behind-the-scene videos and photos as soon as I can!

PS: Wondering why Kenny and Candy are wearing shirts that say Love 3, 23? This is because their wedding date is March 23rd 2011!
